This site is operated by General Neuro, Inc., a Delaware public benefit corporation based in Boston, Massachusetts.

The product

NeuroLingo is a reading-practice aid. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. It does not replace instruction from a qualified reading teacher or clinician.

Pre-orders

Reservations and orders are governed by the pre-order terms and the refund policy.

The text, images and software on this site belong to General Neuro, Inc. Research summaries link to the published papers, which belong to their authors and publishers.

Information, not advice

This site describes NeuroLingo and the research behind it. It is general information, not medical or educational advice about your child. If you have questions about your child’s health, talk to their doctor before using the headband.

Warranty

The headband comes with a one-year limited warranty, starting the day it is delivered. If it stops working because of a defect in materials or workmanship, we will, at our option, repair it, replace it or refund what you paid for it. The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, misuse or normal wear, and it does not cover the saline pads, which are made to be replaced. To make a claim, email info@generalneuro.com. This is separate from the 30-day return policy, and it adds to your rights as a consumer, described below.

The site itself is provided as it is: we work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be free of errors or interruptions.

Your rights as a consumer

You have rights under the consumer law where you live, and nothing in these terms takes them away. In the United Kingdom, that includes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and your right to cancel a distance purchase (see the refund policy). In Canada, it includes the consumer protection law of your province. In Australia: our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, General Neuro is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in connection with this site, a reservation or an order is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under the consumer laws described above.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA. If something goes wrong, write to us first at info@generalneuro.com; most problems can be fixed by email. If we cannot resolve it, disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the current version.
